In the begining of November 2011 Customs at Schiphol found a shipment of fake stickers and watches.
The goods were found in the luggage of a passenger travelling from China to Schiphol Airport.
When the passenger's luggage was checked, a Customs official found approximately 2400 fake stickers and a number of fake watches. The goods were seized and an official report was made against the passenger.
It is an offence to import and/or to export fake goods to and from the Netherlands or to convey these in transit via the Netherlands to another country in or outside the European Union.
